Every Annual Concert is special.
For many parents, it is simply a day when their child performs on stage.
For me, it has always meant much more than that.
It is a celebration of growth.
It is about every practice session, every challenge overcome, every small improvement, and every moment of courage that brings a student to the stage.
In previous years, we selected only certain students to perform at our Annual Concert.
We believed the opportunity should be given to those who were more prepared.
But over the years, I found myself asking one important question.
Why should only the strongest performers have the chance to stand on stage?
If performing builds confidence, develops courage, and creates lifelong memories, shouldn’t every student have that opportunity?
So this year, we made a different decision.
This year, we choose not to choose.
Every student at Doremi Music House will be performing at our Annual Concert 2026.
Whether they joined us recently or have been with us for years…
Whether they are four years old or an adult learner…
Whether they have been learning for one month or several years…
Every student deserves a moment to shine.

Parents often ask me,
“My child is still a beginner. Is he or she really ready to perform?”
My answer has always been the same.
Yes.
Because our Annual Concert has never been about finding the best performer.
It is about giving every student the opportunity to share a year’s worth of hard work with the people who love and support them.
Music is never about comparison.
Growth happens at different speeds.
Some students will perform a complete piece for the very first time.
Some will stand confidently on a stage for the first time.
Some of our adult students are finally fulfilling a dream they have carried since childhood.
To us, every one of these moments is equally meaningful.

Our Doremi Music House Annual Concert 2026 will be held on 20 December 2026 (Sunday).
To provide a more enjoyable experience for both students and families, this year’s concert will be presented in two sessions.

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event.

Admission will be by ticket.
Ticket Price: RM38 per person
• All attendees, including performers, require a ticket.
• Children below 2 years old enjoy free admission (no seat provided).
• One ticket grants admission to both concert sessions.

Every student who performs will receive a trophy.
This trophy is not awarded to the “best” performer.
Instead, it is a celebration of every student who worked hard, persevered, and had the courage to step onto the stage.
Because at Doremi Music House,
Every effort deserves to be recognised.

This year, we are also introducing a special Profile Photo Booth.
Every student will have the opportunity to take a memorable photo with their instrument—a keepsake that captures an important milestone in their musical journey.
Students who wish to participate are encouraged to arrive around 12:00 PM, dressed in their best attire, ready to create a beautiful memory.
